I’ve worked as the lead Art Director for LiveWorx, the definitive event for Digital Transformation, since 2019. The event has transitioned from an in person event in Boston in 2019 (hosting thousands over the course of a few days), to a virtual event in 2020 during the pandemic, and an episodic three episode event in 2021.

Over the past three events I’ve created print, digital, web, email, logo design, set design, graphics packages, and more. I’ve also collaborated with animators and video producers to create event and promotional content.

I’ve been fortunate to work with the people from Hot Stove Cool Music and The Foundation To Be Named Later the past few years (Peter Gammons, Theo Epstein, and Allyce Najimy.) It’s truly a great cause and they put on some really fun events.

Developed the concept and designed a handful posters since 2017. As well as creating most event collateral and swag. Everything from tee-shirts, social media posts, laminates, and table top pieces.

One of the highlights working with them over the years was creating a poster for the 2017 event. Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) was the headliner at the Paradise Rock Club and the poster design even made it’s way to a beer label, brewed by Harpoon for VIP guests.

Blue Cross of MA wanted to promote their Medicare brand so when people finally turned 64, they’d know who to turn to for coverage.

When the Ninety Nine Restaurants was launching online ordering, they were looking for easy, convenient ways to get customers to visit their new online ordering site.

So we created dozens of unique urls that spoke to why you’d order online from The Nines. Type the url in your browser, and you’re taken directly to their online ordering site.

The Boston Celtics were looking for a way to promote their premium ticket offerings via broadcast TV, while keeping the production cost at a minimum. As part of a small, nimble team we were able to capture the footage during game night at The Garden, without any interruptions.

This campaign targets both C-Suite folks looking to treat their clients to a game and employees like a sales manager, taking out his/her team for a good time. This campaign was supported by direct mail postcards and some print the be added soon.

Signing up for Medicare can be a daunting task. People don’t know what kind of coverage they need or even where to start. In our research, we learned that new Medicare enrollees just wanted someone to help them connect the dots for a plan that fits their lives.

So as the annual enrollment period approached, we launched a 360 campaign around the “Connect the Dots” idea. Tell us what’s important in your life, and we’ll connect the dots for you.

This campaign was a huge success for Blue Cross, increasing calls by 75 percent over the previous year.

A typographic company manifesto using hand made illustrations and texture. The manifesto art made its way into the Wahlburgers restaurant interiors and food trucks.

The overall style and look from the manifesto and wall art also influenced the design of their social media channels.

This is an individual ad unit that was part of the larger Museum of Science: Spiders Exhibit campaign.

Had fun concepting and designing this one, keeping true to the overall campaign question - What would it look, feel and sound like if Spiders came to Boston for the summer?

The first social robot for the home who looks, listens and learns. Artificially intelligent, authentically charming.

We created a product launch video - "Space" and a follow up short video - "Fortune" to show off some of Jibo's personality and humor. 

A data blitz is a random piece of media Portfolio Center students present to the school prior to a speaker’s presentation. For my data blitz, I chose to mend my passion for the sport of golf and my love for Portfolio Center into a short video. The major inspiration for this video short was the classic, Adam Sandler golf flick, Happy Gilmore.

Potato’s back up any entree and pair well with just about anything. This campaign imagines the potato as your food’s favorite sidekick. Famous characters like Garth Algar, Spok, Chewbacca and more represent the backup for your favorite food.

Blue Apron is an empowering service that inspires you to feel confidence and pride in the kitchen. The idea of Conquering The Kitchen is a powerful thought and we really wanted the advertising and design the reflect such a bold and loud statement. Our goals and objectives behind this campaign were to create awareness and exposure for Blue Apron as a meal delivery service, generate excitement and admiration for the brand, and position Blue Apron as a valid lifestyle choice, available to aid millennials with their kitchen woes.

The everyday visual aspects of New York inspired the team’s identity system; including the subway system’s classic signage and mosaic tiling, Manhattan’s remarkable grid structure, and the complex cabling arrangement of the Brooklyn Bridge. In 2015, as the 20th MLS franchise and a team truly built for the city, New York City Football Club will complete the ‘Pantheon’ of New York sports. A big thanks to my partner on this project, designer Erin Bishop.

Assisted the creative team concept and design an Infographic and a downloadable E-Book / PDF. The major theme behind the work is Video Conferencing Taboos (the mistakes you definitely want to avoid).

Position: Design Intern at MMB - Boston, MA

Cañon City, Colorado was birthed by the railway and the historic gold rush of the 1840's. The small city's economy thrives off tourism and outdoor activities. Tragically, the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park (the city's # 1 tourist attraction) lost 48 of it's 52 buildings and facilities to brush fires in 2013. The primary mission of the Cañon City Railway Museum is to strengthen community roots to the city's heritage and tradition and also to assist and support in the recovery and development of the local economy. One major highlight of the museum is the Scope Room; it's filled with stereoscopes made from western cedar that support their own iPad and utilize the Railway Museum's image housing application.

Using snarky, in your face copy, this campaign demands people stop what they’re doing and have some fun. Whether it’s during the afternoon subway commute or just hangin’ out taking a Saturday stroll; the ‘Drink with Evan’ campaign utilizes spit-fire Kentucky attitude that will inspire more people to get out and drink real, authentic bourbon. Collaborating with a writer on this copy-driven campaign was a great experience.

Lululemon makes technical athletic apparel for yoga, and other sweaty pursuits. The Lululemon community center will showcase an organic restuarant called NOM strategically placed next to a ‘Lulu’ retail store.

To be centered is to be emotionally healthy and calm; these values are essential to Lululemon. The restaurant and store will also neighbor a ‘Lulu’ yoga studio. The community center will provide an experience promoting Lululemon brand values and principles across a wide-ranging target market.

The installation and poster created for a Wieden and Kennedy presentation was inspired by the company’s personality and character. W+K offices will often showcase hand-crafted art using every day items. With this in mind, we decided to use “All of the Things.” Dan Wieden’s famous quote, “Stay Foolish” inspired the use of random items including toys and games.

The goal was to develop a currency system better representing the advancements, innovation and culture within our global society. The United States population consists of an ethnic melting pot, representing nations all over the world. The 2015 U.S. currency system will honor our greatest engineering achievements, and inspire others to invent, design and build across the globe.

This poster triptych directly targets bullies by visualizing their dreary, potential future. An illustrator and I, shared the same views towards bullying and appreciated The Bully Project’s cause. We worked as a team to create a poster series in support of the national movement that is transforming kids’ lives and changing the culture of bullying into one of empathy and action.

The Balance Factory will change the custom shoe market as we know it. New Balance will achieve this by utilizing data collection, mobile centric inspiration tools, and a revolutionary in store experience. Committed to superior quality and an informational, personalized experience; the factory stores will be smaller in size and positioned in much larger volume across the country. Each location will employ within the local workforce, supporting job markets and playing an active role in the local community.

I've been to a lot of concerts over the years (more than 200 actually, just couldn't record them all); it's one of my favorite things to do. After looking through my folder of ticket stubs, calling friends, and a good bit of online research, I was able to create a spreadsheet recording 200 concerts. I'm extremely passionate for live music and some of my fondest memories shared with friends are from concerts I've been to around the U.S. (mostly in New England).
